Price Guide and Setup Options
A quick summary of my prices and set up
Every event is different and although I do not offer packages, there is a base price for any event type, whether it be a Wedding reception disco, corporate event or a simple gig in a pub is £475. This will give you my smallest sound system (which is only suitable for up to 70 people), a very basic light set-up (not the truss towers that you see below), and a maximum total playing time of five hours. This minimum fee is also based on setting all of the equipment up directly before the actual event and that the venue location is within a 30 mile driving distance of Bournemouth, Dorset. Medium and large functions or weddings that have more than 80 guests will require additional sound equipment to fill the space properly. See what’s included as standard at the foot of this page. You can choose various options or ‘pretty touches’ to add-on to your wedding or event and I can also provide additional playing time on-site that may be used either for background music, later hours or music for your actual wedding ceremony. I also offer wireless microphone service, wedding ceremony music and full room uplighting to make your venue look beautifully different. An early set up option is also available for when your wedding is taking place in a marquee.
Your choice of two very distinctive looks: Discreet or Industrial
If you choose to upgrade to my lighting truss tower system, every event or disco that I do has a choice of two looks, free to all my customers: Discreet or Industrial. The ‘Discreet’ option is shown above, ideal for beautiful weddings, with clean white covers over all of the metal tower fixtures, where in contrast, ‘Industrial’ keeps all the metal exposed, giving you a more of a nightclub or festival feel. In both cases, the metal uprights are lit with high power, full colour-changing lighting that is placed inside the base.
Early Set Up option for your event
This option is available to all of my clients and is especially suited to marquees or hotels where the evening party is taking place in the same room as the wedding breakfast or afternoon sit-down meal.
This can make a massive difference to how smoothly your day runs, especially between the afternoon period and the evening reception. There is nothing worse than having lots of big, heavy flight-cases being rolled into your beautiful room whilst all of your guests are trying to finish their food. Another use for this is when a corporate event is taking place, and you require all of the sound & lighting equipment to be rigged before those important awards or the raffle. This option is also great for when you have booked my wireless radio microphone option for your speeches.
The charge for this option is always fixed at £150 inc vat, regardless of the location of your venue and / or set-up time. This can be as early or as late as you require.
Additional playing time
Every wedding reception and event is different, that’s why I have given you the option to add more playing time to my standard basic of four hours. Some customers require five hours of music, some want ten, it’s up to you. I charge just £30 for each additional half-hour period, that way it’s more accurate and you only pay for what you need.
Wireless / Radio microphone hire for speeches
Microphones are a great idea, especially for nervous speaking people, or simply if your voice needs to be heard across the marquee or function room. It can be passed very easily from person to person, and because there are no cables at all, you won’t knock over things on your top table. My radio microphone is made by industry standard Sennheisher, it won’t ever squeak or feedback and it costs just £40 to hire.

- Colour changing disco setup which can be colour-matched to your wedding colours or event theme. See examples
- A crystal clear, digitally powered sound system. I don’t play MP3 files, it’s all very high quality stuff.
- Huge music library containing over 12,000 songs.
- Multi-coloured and computer-controlled lighting system which looks simply stunning.
- A really professional-looking event setup, NEVER with any visible wires or cables.
- Everything fully delivered, set up and operated by myself and additional staff if required.
Also included as standard:
- Unlimited customer help, advice and support via phone calls / E Mails or face to face meetings.
- Direct contact always with myself, to give you true one-to-one personalized service.
- All relevant cabling, rigging and ancillary equipment is provided.
- PAT certification sent to your hotel or venue if they require it.
- £10 million worth of Public Liability Insurance.
