Event name : noWax at The Old Ale House

The first ever noWax anywhere south of London in the UK... We hosted the event at the Ale House in Salisbury. So what is noWax I hear you cry...?

Well, in a nutshell, you find a venue, put in a sound system and a big screen for displaying ticket numbers and tracks chosen. Everybody turns up with their iPod's, CD's or even Vinyl. You take a ticket (much like a ticket at a Deli counter), you wait for your number to be cued-up on screen, you play YOUR CHOICE of songs. ANY songs at all, no rules, nobody telling you otherwise. The outcome...? A place full of happy, eclectic and random music, people and a truly unique atmosphere.

As I write this, the next noWax will be on the first Friday in April at the Old Ale House and all being well, there will be one a month or one bi-monthly.
